I used to staple blank paper pages together and proudly call it a book. Not much has changed, really. The paper is a laptop now, and my spelling has improved.

I write Gothic fiction, which conveniently gives me an excuse to spend hours researching forgotten places, unsettling history, folklore, and things that probably shouldn't be lurking in dusty attics or old forests.

When I'm not swan-diving into rabbit holes, I'm traveling with my husband and two children, listening to audiobooks, or snuggling with my ancient cat, cuddly dog, and demanding bearded dragon.
